PS Gateway Mobile App + Add-on
PS Gateway Mobile is a Beta / Early Access Android companion app for PS Gateway. It helps site owners and authorized staff manage payments, PayLinks, orders, fiscal receipt actions, and mobile push notifications from their phone.
PS Gateway Mobile works together with the PS Gateway Mobile Add-on installed on your WordPress site.
What Is Included
PS Gateway Mobile includes two parts:
- PS Gateway Mobile Add-on for WordPress
- PS Gateway Mobile Android App
The WordPress add-on provides mobile REST API endpoints, mobile access settings, device registration, and push notification support.
The Android app connects to your WordPress site using WordPress Application Passwords and displays the mobile interface for orders, PayLinks, receipt actions, and settings.
Beta Notice
PS Gateway Mobile is currently provided as a Beta / Early Access product.
The main workflow is usable, but the mobile experience is still being improved. Some features may change, and new mobile roles, permissions, and notification types may be added in future versions.
Requirements
To use PS Gateway Mobile, you need:
- WordPress site with PS Gateway installed and active
- PS Gateway Mobile Add-on installed and active
- Android phone
- WordPress user with permission to access the mobile app
- WordPress Application Password for that user
- Active PS Gateway Mobile service token from PlanetStudio if push notifications are used
Optional features may require additional PS Gateway add-ons:
- WooCommerce orders require WooCommerce integration
- Fiscal receipt actions require the eHDM Add-on
- PayLink creation requires PayLink support in PS Gateway
Installation
1. Install The WordPress Add-on
Install and activate PS Gateway Mobile Add-on on your WordPress site.
After activation, open:
PS Gateway → Mobile App
There you can manage connected devices and mobile access settings.
2. Install The Android App
Download and install the PS Gateway Mobile Android App on your phone.
Because the app is currently distributed outside Google Play, Android may ask you to allow installation from your browser or file manager.
Connect The App
Open the Android app and go to Settings.
Enter:
- Site URL
- WordPress username
- WordPress Application Password
Then tap Connect.
The app will connect to your WordPress site, register the device, load mobile access settings, and prepare the Orders screen.
Use the full site URL, for example:
https://example.com
For production sites, always use HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate.
WordPress Application Passwords
PS Gateway Mobile uses WordPress Application Passwords instead of your normal WordPress password.
To create one:
- Go to Users → Profile in WordPress.
- Find Application Passwords.
- Create a new password for PS Gateway Mobile.
- Copy the generated password.
- Use it in the mobile app Settings screen.
Mobile Access Roles
The Mobile Add-on supports role-based access.
Available mobile roles:
- Administrator
- PS Gateway Mobile Manager
- PS Gateway Mobile Cashier
You can configure what each role can see and do from:
PS Gateway → Mobile App → Mobile access
Each role can have separate settings for:
- Push notifications
- App screens
- Receipt actions
- Order visibility
App Permissions
You can enable or disable:
- Orders screen
- Create PayLinks
- Settings screen
The mobile app reads these settings from your WordPress site and displays only the allowed navigation items.
Receipt Actions
You can control whether a role can:
- Print receipt
- Resend QR email
Fiscal receipt actions require eHDM support and are available only for supported orders.
Order Visibility
You can limit which orders a role can see by:
- Source
- Payment status
- Woo payment method
Supported sources include:
- WooCommerce
- PayLink
- PayForm
- GiveWP
- WPForms
For example, a Cashier can be limited to WooCommerce cash on delivery orders only.
Push Notifications
Push notifications are configured per mobile role.
Open:
PS Gateway → Mobile App → Mobile access
Select a role and enable the notification types that role should receive.
Available notification types:
- WooCommerce paid orders
- WooCommerce cash on delivery orders
- PayLink paid
- Missing fiscal receipt (Taxservice eHDM)
If no notification type is selected for a role, users with that role will not receive push notifications.
Push notifications use the optional PlanetStudio mobile cloud service and require an active PS Gateway Mobile service token connected to your Mobile Add-on subscription.
Push notifications also require:
- Registered mobile device
- Push status marked as Ready
- Device enabled in the Mobile App Devices table
- Android notification permission enabled for the app
Devices
Connected phones appear under:
PS Gateway → Mobile App → Devices
The Devices table shows:
- Device ID
- WordPress user
- Platform
- App version
- Push status
- Role
- Enabled / Disabled status
- Last seen time
You can disable or delete device records if needed.
Orders
The app provides a unified Orders screen for PS Gateway sources.
Depending on your installed integrations and mobile access settings, the Orders screen can include:
- WooCommerce orders
- PayLink payments
- PayForm payments
- GiveWP donations
- WPForms payments
- Other PS Gateway sources added later
Each order can show:
- Date
- Source
- Order number or PSPG order ID
- Customer or purpose
- Amount and currency
- Payment status
- Fiscal receipt status when supported (Taxservice eHDM)
- Test mode badge when applicable
PayLinks
Authorized users can create PayLinks from the mobile app.
The PayLink screen supports:
- Bank selection
- Amount
- Currency
- Link type
- Purpose
- Description
After a PayLink is created, it can be opened from order details and copied/shared from the app.
Fiscal Receipts (eHDM)
When eHDM support is available, the app can show fiscal receipt information for supported orders.
Possible actions include:
- View fiscal receipt status
- Open receipt eHDM QR code
- Resend receipt eHDM QR email
- Print eHDM fiscal receipt
Receipt actions depend on:
- Installed eHDM Add-on
- Order source
- Payment status
- Currency
- Mobile role permissions
Unsupported sources, pending payments, or orders that should not have a fiscal receipt will not show unnecessary receipt warnings.
